My kids are now adults and have travelled to Bali by themselves but back in the day's when we took them and went with friends who have a 2 year old we always had a fantastic time, the Balinese people love children and everytime we went out the staff could not do enough, even if you have fussy one you can aleways find chips etc and they survive just fine for a week or so having fun food.
Try not to stress and just enjoy your holiday - perhaps a portable DVD player for on the plane may help - also good for quite times around the pool.
