I totally agree with the traffic situation in Kuta and Ubud.
Yes food and drink prices have gone up and there are still a thousand guys trying to rip you off.
On one occasion I found a teenage girl trying to get her correct change from a purchase and the locals insisted that the note they were given was 10,000 rp and not the 100,000rp which was actually given., the situation was rectified when I decided to stand next to the girl and support her. This happened at the markets which are accross the road from the Dynasty Hotel.
