Koday shop along from the Dynasty Hotel, Tuban, you hand your slip of paper which you will have filled in all your details over and your money, they then use a machine to calculate the rate and then the rupiahs are handed to you, you stand and count before leaving. Sometimes they even ask for change from you so as not to break up big notes.
At the Central Kuta bank just over the bridge the same happens except you sit down and wait until your number is called and you then go to the teller to recieve your rupiahs. If changing a lot of money you can use the little room at the side for privacy. Same thing fill in the paper, hand over your money, sit and wait until recalled up and then get your rupiahs.
Exchange rates are clearly shown on the boards inside both these places.
