i am not a big seafood fan, so over the last 20 years of going to bali i never went to jimbaren, and that had a lot to do with the bad rap jimbaren bay always seemed to get. to cut a long story short i am now married to a indo now and she introduced me to jimbaren as she is mad on seafood. well i must admit i have missed out over the last fews years by not going there. the ambience is great, and now i have learnt to love seafood because of jimbaren, and i do not think it is expensive, especially the compared to the prices we pay here. so in my opinion go and try it, try some seafood (it converted me, i was just chicken and red meat) and suck in the ambience
