I do agree somewhat with what your saying.
I don't quite understand why it bothers you so much.
As for leaving their manners at home, well they probably didn't have any to leave at home. Most people continue on with their own type of behaviour whether they are at home or on holiday.
I've seen all different types of Nationalities behaving badly.
In Nusa Dua a few years back, a German Woman knocked over a heavily pregnant young local girl, i turned around to help the girl up and asked if she was ok, and this other woman knew what she did and didn't even offer an apology, she just walked away!
Another time i was in Matahari's and an Indian women slapped a worker across the hands, really hard, why i don't know, but he had tears in his eyes so it must of hurt.
So i guess sometimes when you are on holiday, your thrown into a mix of all different personalities and sometimes it can get a bit overwhelming.
