I found the apartment we stayed in absolutely gorgeous and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments are all privately owned, so they will be all different. I have also been told if you stay there not to take a room at the front left due to the nightclub next door. I certainly understood that when we walked home late a couple of nights, however once we got near our room we could not hear it at all.

I haven't stayed at the Ramada Camakila but it did look nice when I looked at it briefly in January. I agree with Clovis about the closeness of the rooms though. One thing I did like about O-CE-N is the size of the apartment (massive!) and it was self contained, which I prefer to a standard hotel room just in case I decide I can't be bothered going anywhere for breakfast/lunch. :)
