We stayed on Lembongan last month. We ate at the reef restaurant and ware ware right in front of Lembongan reef bungalows, and had great meals. My 9 year old son and i walked along the beach to Lindas restaurant (my husband and daughter rode on the scooter) and had a fantastic meal. Big servings. Aussie owners there and very friendly. We can back up the big raps it gets on this forum. It probably took us 15 - 20 mins to walk along the beach. Very easy walk as it was low tide. One of the workers gave us a lift back on his scooter. We passed heaps of restaurants on the walk there including, i think scooby doo bar and there was a pizza/burger place i think part of the oka hotel. We went to the reef bar one night and played some eight ball. You will pass it when you get off the boat to walk up to your resort. We also went to a fantastic thai restaurant in the village called Ketuts. This also gets big raps on here and we are so glad we made the effort to go. She makes her own spring rolls fresh on certain days or you can organise a day to go and she will make them especially for you. YUM, Yum, Yum and huge. Best meal and very cheap but not easy to find. Whole family there, very happy to chat. Dad entertained us whilst we ate and played the recorder. Very memorable. They also had pancakes and toasted sandwiches if you have kids and they don't eat thai. We had lunch had Dream Beach cafe one day and that was very nice. People recommend the bar and cafe at mushroom beach. But we didn't get a chance to go. A friend also had meals at the coconuts resort restaurant and liked it. They also do a nice big breakfast if you need somewhere to go. But so do ware ware and reef. Not a restaurant, but we went for a swim at coconuts beach and the bay was calm and nice. Just keep walking along the path past all the resorts and you will see it. If you need a recommendation to hire a boat or bikes go see Nemo who you can find sitting outside the playgrounds resort. He was great especially with the kids. We spent half a day snorkelling and circumnavigating the island. He had all the snorkelling gear. Our friends also went snorkelling with him and hired motorbikes. Have a great trip. We loved lembongan island and can't wait to go back.
