After 5 nights in Sanur and 2 nights on Lembongan we were ready for the hustle & Bustle of Legian, arrived at The Lokha to be greeted by the same warmth we experienced last year - we love this place. Next morning off to Leon Tailor in Garlic Lane to organise yr 10 formal suit for 15 yr old and a formal dress for myself to wear to a wedding in September, very happy with both the end product, the service and the price, whilst in Legian we did the mandatory shopping - shorts, T shirts, shoes, DVDs, bags, christmas shopping etc. Went white water rafting and ATV at the Elephant Park. Waterbomb Park - always a good day out. Opposite the Lokha Warm Stone Massage 80,000rp, fish that eat the skin off your feet you can barter for a price of 30,000rp for 15 mins, a different experience to say the least.
My Husband had a Tattoo at Buddha Face Tattoo in JL Legian, great job, recommended to us and got price down from 1.8 mil rp to 800,000 rp...!!! Good job, clean shop new needles.
Restaurants we ate at:
Seaside - more than once...!!! Lanai,T.J's, Motzarella - have eaten there in past trips and loved it, this time whilst the food was good the servings seemed to have been quite small, Indo National - average, La Walon - Poppies 1 - good cheap food, great quality, Wayan & Friends - Always good, - Legian Snaxs - always great, tried Sharpinos Pizza outside the Lokha for the 1st time, great Pizzas, The best meal of the Holiday would have to be Queens Tandoor in Seminyak, ate there twice, possibly the BEST Indian we have ever eaten anywhere.
Spent many afternoons at Billys Bar on the Beach watching the sunset and drinking Bintangs....Oh How I miss Bali......Kylie
