G'day Salty,
I have stayed at the inna the last 10 years in a row and will be back there this sept.
Most of the hotel rooms have been renovated except for the cottages.
The thing about the Inna is location location.
The hotel is right on the beach not across the road or behind a huge wall like some hotels that claim to be on the beach.
The hotel is next to the Kuta art markets,5 minutes walk up the beach to Centro shopping mall, around the corner from Kuta square,5 minutes walk to Waterbom park and on the beach.
You will have a great time getting to know the beach sellers and thier families.Sam's Beach Bar is right out front of the Inna.
Sam is such a legend,he serves icy cold bintang, mix match vodka based drinks and soft drink.
We never buy a drink in the hotel and save heaps of money.
You can also take your duty free down to Sam's and just buy the mixer from him.He also has good ice for your mixed drinks.
The beach food stalls have awesome food especially the satays.
About 4.00pm another lady comes down to the beach and sells corn on the cob.Life on the beach is awesome and once you get over the initial sellers trying to sell you thier wares you will feel at home.
The breakfast is very good (buffet) but the restaurant is pretty average but there are heaps of restaurants within walking distance.
The staff are terrificand nothing is to much of a problem.
The pool is large shaped like a butterfly with a swim up pool bar.
Rooms are good but not 5 STAR.
Not sure what else to tell you.
