Hi Kazzy. can I suggest you email (or Google) The Helen Flavel Foundation. This Aussie lady (and her Husband) run/co-ordinated a Learning Centre in Singa Raja (on the Northern side of the Island). She is based in Adelaide's southern suburbs. People generally sponsor a young child from the Learning Centre on an annual basis. your sponsorship covers their eduaction, uniforms and some of their learning needs. All the children come from poor and underprivelaged farming families. We sponsor 4 children who are and absolute delight.We've been to the Centre and "checked it out", and were very impressed with how well it operates.
