Didn't do much shopping in Sanur other than below...
Tootsies (Sanur) - fixed price shop, I got on internet over there to get diretions one day, loved this place too. The market ladies were so rude and pushy while we were making our way there, followed us & waited outside! I said to Tootsie can you tell them to leave us alone LOL. My daughter did not cope well with pushy women like this... bought up big here, B/Bong t-shirts 35,000 and denim shorts 90,000 for son, Everlast singlet 35,000, Prada bags x 2, L/Vuitton Wallet, her sunnies were 35,000 but we had already bought ours, I got a D&G wheelie carryon bag for plane, this it was 100,000...got a lovely top for 40,000..but it was her new shop and she said she has another one next to Dianne's so I got my directions wrong cos that is where I thought I was going so didn't get to Dianne's...being down end of Sindhu Beach though we had to walk all the way back up to main road to get a taxi as they charge them to come in, not a big deal except son had hurt toe badly in pool (another story) and was limping and couldn't walk far. So I walked up and paid for taxi to come in and get him!
JB Canvas Prints (Hardy's supermarket, sanur) - came back from Safari Park and saw them there - had my camera with me - had taken 2 great shots of kids with tiger - he downloaded them off my memory card, printed them onto canvas both for 60,000 while we were in supermarket, came out & I said no I want them stretched onto wood...no worries but that will be 40,000 extra he said LOL! Picked them up 2 days later...only thing and my fault, should have checked them, kids faces really red and they weren't sunburnt but for the price can't fault them, if I had something really special I would sit there & watch them photoshop it, but cheap as chips, they are about 50 x 90cm big each.
Hardy's - great for supplies for Villa, snacks etc...stocked up on Sensodyne toothpaste & toothbrushes LOL and got my Oil of Ulay here too.
DVD's - anywhere we could...Knight & Day was crap quality (and crap movie) but probably cos it is new, so far all work, last time we had H come to hotel but this time we just bought as we went, kids got tv series of Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother and Modern Family too...we bought plenty & while there bought some dvd cases & packed them up in that, threw away all the packaging over there. Couldn't get Eclipse sadly though... bought a lot in shop in Hardy's..
Sunnies - hubbie a good bargainer and got them 3 for 100,000, have enough to last us a few years I hope!
Didn't buy a lot of clothes, I am over the bargaining and prefer fixed price, they really put me off even 'looking'...my daughter said if they would just let us look we would buy more, so true I think. You really have to be in the mood.
