Thats an interesting phrase "Is air asia worth the cheap fares"
I would normally expect somebody to say "Is x worth the extra money".....
I've flown Air Asia twice to Bali (From perth) now, have found them to be excellent, running on time both ways, comfortable leather seats, it is definately worth extra for row 1 as you get more leg room and straight off the plane. Staff are very friendly and excess luggage charges are reasonable
Biggest draw back is the food is terrible but its only a short flight :)
