18 months old, she also wasn't too keen on being in the stroller. But being in Bali, and with the heat, it "knocked her out" and she was more than happy to sit in it and be pushed everywhere. We were even lucky enough that she would sleep for several hours in it - bonus!! Bali with and 18 month old and NO PRAM would be a nightmare (my opinion anyway!) - you won't regret taking one with you, and the benefits of using it to carry all your shopping (and child!)is great! Also, pushing the pram along the streets isn't as bad as you might think - I'd rather be pushing a pram along the streets of Kuta, than not being there at all!!
