Hi we had the same issues when we took our 6 month old. We used the stroller alot but sometimes it was awkward as it didnt lie back enough so the most useful thing we had was a sarong. We used this folded up as a change mat and went somewhere private or away from people be it in a lane or on the beach and lay the bub on it, quick change shielded by the pram and nappy wrapped up. Might not be ideal to everyone but it worked perfectly for us. Sarongs comes in handy as a sun shade or even a towel as we found when the girls ( being sweaty and covered in sunscreen) played on the beach and ended up covered in the dark sand. We washed them down with some bottled water and the sarond made a great towel.
