Right next to Matahari there is a money changer. It used to be called PT Central but it is a Travelex now I believe. I only ever change money there and have never had an issue. Almost feel bad when I count it to check :-) Shopping wise you are right near Matahari and a short walk to Centro. A little bit up from Centro across from the Green Garden Hotel you have Dianne's fixed price shop where I got a bundle of clothes - they are all priced between 30 000 - 40 000. You are near Poppies 1 also so there are a heap of restaurants there. If you want any specific details let me know
