Don't worry at all, I have been there 29 times and only once or twice did I strike really wet weather. They have thunderstorms that pour down and then stop, roads & gutters are flooded and then it finally flows into the ocean, unfortunately with lots of rubbish also.
I have just walked in the rain and it is a nice respite from the heat.
The storms are usually in the latter part of the day into the night. You might notice that in the mornings the sun doesn't break through til about 9am, then you will have more sunshine than you can handle. Go, enjoy Bali whatever the weather.
