Come on guys.. he / she hasnt even specifically said they are talking about beer..they could well be talking about wine or spirits, which we all know are overpriced due to very high import taxes.
How about giving them a chance to explain properly before bighting ears off.
If they are talking about beer though - seriously? 20,000 for a small beer is not a lot (its about half what i'd pay in the UK) And you reguarly get large bintangs for 18 - 25k depending on where you are drinking.
If they want cheap beer though.. perhaps they should go to Sky Garden everynight from 6 - 10pm. 50,000 rupiah for unlimited heiniken. Or Sky Garden on friday nights 10 - 11pm i think? 1,000 rupiah (yes ONE thousand) for draft beer.
i'm sure plenty of other bars do similar promos, i just am not aware of them. I never got to enjoy the 50k offer, as its too early to go heavy if i want to stay out till 3 or 4am.
