AA allows 7 kg for carry on luggage.
Last year, I flew AA five times.
I noticed that Malaysian passengers had small trolley suitcases which they took on the plane as carry on luggage. They struggled to lift them into the overhead lockers. The AA cabin staff did not assist them.
