Was going to help you out with some info as I know that not all places on Bali are for everyone and I myself get a bit overwhelmed in the heart of Kuta and avoid it.
But then I read your replies and now I think you're elitist and homophobic and don't really deserve redirection to the kind of places I go to and the ones you're looking for.
So maybe just do your own research. Alternatively, consider that it takes all kinds to make up a tourist area and although you might not subscribe to the 'bogan' culture you can still respect that they're there on holiday too and insulting people won't get you the information you want.
It's Bali afterall, learn a little acceptance, the Balinese way.
