I quit smoking after 45 years thanks to Champix, I had already tried acupucture hypnotism cold turkey and patches, I got the precription from my Doctor as it is subsidised by the Aust Govt. I had no problems with Champix nor had my son also my hairdresser, if you want to stop smoking what do you have to lose by trying it, other than a habit that is now costing a small fortune
