I went to the one in Sanur (it's ~ in the middle of the main drag) and I guess it was mid-size. Didn't specifically look at stationery tho sorry.
Best guess would prob be Carrefour, the hypermarket at Bali Galleria or the 'makro' store mentioned here. I think Matahari's stationery is overpriced from what I've previously seen. : )
