Hi Sue,going to Ubud in Oct for a couple of weeks with my elderly dad. Since you mentioned some mobility probs I hope you dont mind me asking how you went on the Ubud footpaths? My dads got gammy hips and though I know Ubud quite well am wondering whether we shouldnt reduce expectations completely and rent a villa he can hang out in. Also,re: busy Ubud -my experience in the past has been that the day time is very busy but evenings pretty chilled out. Is this still the case?Its also been two years since I was there.
