I have just returned from 2 weeks in Bali, and would like to recommend TIA from La Risso Spa(ph 0361 762351) as being a very thorough & therapeutic masseuse, who takes her craft seriously, and is proud of her massaging style.Without mentioning my problem areas, Tia honed in on them straight away, and concentrated on these for a good part of the first session.
I had 5 x 1.5 hr sessions with her(120,000Rp for aromatherapy 1.5 hr, 80,000Rp for an hour), and whilst I was rather tender after the first one due to so many "knots" in my Left shoulder and more problems with my left thigh and calf areas, by the end of the 2nd session, I walked out of there almost "floating on air".
La Risso Spa is upstairs above the La Risso Leather Shop,located just past Febris Hotel on the Lefthand side as you head towards the airport. The premises although small, are airconditioned & clean, and all of the girls dressed very smartly in red and black.Their hours are 10am - 10pm, and you will need to make an appointment for Tia, as she is already very popular with regular clientele, and works either of the 2 shifts they do.
