for the girls, but as you say will make them very aware of potential situations that can happen when your travelling o/seas. We try and leave our cards in the hotel safe (once I didn't have a safe and hid it so well, and forgotten I'd hidden it) that I reported it missing and it was closed down on me immediately :( luckily I had another card to use for my trip! So taking multiple cards is not a bad idea, just don't carry them in the same bag together at any time.
