In case GaryD misses your request I used the Post Office at the back of Bintang Supermarket on Jl Legian. It's on the southern side of the supermarket right next door possibly attached to the building.
I saw Ketut who seems to be there every day. I went early around 8 and took all my stuff in a big striped bag. Ketut did the rest,I just had to fill out a slip saying value & contents and my address. I also had to write my home address in thick pen on the box once it was wrapped. It was a very simple procedure and I was so Impressed I kept shopping and turned up a few days later with another 20 kilos to send.
That was early May and my parcels haven't arrived, but I'm not concerned (yet) as it has only been 6 or 7 weeks
Hope this helps as the Bintang location might be easier
