In need of some good advice on hospital memberships offered by BIMC and Kasih Ibu hospitals.
I will be spending quite some time on Bali in a while. I will have a medical insurance from my home country (the Netherlands)but the hospitals mentioned do not have contracts with them.
If I would pay for a membership, some basics are free. But do their discounts on other services really make a difference?
I have never been in an accident or been hospitalized (knock on wood) but I really want to know what to expect in case of... Don't want to be surprised with skyhigh bills, as I don't have a lot of savings.
I also heard about being able to 'barter' on fees, presented on the spot, although I would like to think that they don't try to charge you extra, just because you're a foreigner.
So please, if anybody has any good info or advice, I would be very gratefull...
