Hi sapphire, as usual on this forum, asking a question about something that many don't want to answer or have some weird opposition to brings out posts that don't help you at all.

Firstly, VIP VOA is a service offered by some operators in Bali as well as a company based here in Australia where when you disembark from the aircraft you are met by a VIP VOA representative who will then assist in the processing of all of your immigration needs.

Secondly, difference between Bali operators (as far as I know, please anyone who has other information, feel free to provide further "useful" information)is that you are not taken to a "lounge area". The Australian based company takes you to a lounge area with refreshments available, whilst they process all your immigration needs.

The process is quicker if you are unlucky enough to land with many other flights at the same time.

Many on this forum have an aversion to this service, however, it is entirely the decision and option of you the traveller and experience that you wish to have.

Costs: I understand that the Bali based operators charge approx (again fellow formites, please let me know if I'm wrong) 225,000 RP for the service, again I also understand you do not get the lounge option. The Australian service is $45AUD per person.

I have used this Australian operator service numerous times and love the pampering... this is my decision and I certainly don't let others opinions sway me... I enjoy the little bit of pampering. If you wish to find out about the Australian operators details, go to www dot netfare dot com dot au (take out the dot and replace with .) and you can then make up your own mind.

Good luck and enjoy if you decide to take up the service. My email is open if you need any further info.
