I haven't been to Taro, but am in love with Mara! We have stayed there twice and been to the park on 3 trips now. The variety is fantastic and having a drinky on the balcony of my villa while listening to the lions roar is second to none! The night safari at Mara is a must do - feed the zebras. The restaurant food is top notch and they bring one of the animals into the lobby at 7pm. We have seen a python, tiger and adult elephant.
