We stayed at Beach Melati and while we loved it, it wasn't really suitable for the young men staying in our party. They were way too boisterous for the small pool area and annoyed some residents with their splashing. There aren't many other guests to mix with either, especially their age.
They enjoyed hanging out with the young guys in the coffee shop.
I think a resort would suit them better.
