Advice Taking Infant To Bali

Hi.. we are taking our 23 Month old Daughter to Bali in July 2010, does anyone have any safe tips or extra advice about taking a Infant to Bali? All help Appreciated

Also - Flying with Garuda Air Lines, Does anyone know if a infant is allowed luggage on plane? Hand Luggage and Suitcase? Checked Garuda web site and could not find any info. Cheers
