OK thanks to good advice below we have decided on Padma for the last week but it is a little exy so thinkwe may stay small and budget for the first week. The kids won't feel deprived because they have never stayed at a big resort type hotel like Padma but if we stayed there first they probably wouldn't want to leave.
So can anyone suggest any small friendly budget places in Sanur? Had a look over there when we stayed in Kuta before and would like to try it out. Also think the kids would like the calm sea and little kayaks. As long as the hotel is clean and has a pool and air con that would be enough. Don't really care about TV as i would like to unplug them for a week. They'll get other kids for company in Padma so not important in Sanur. Being twins they are pretty happy to play together mostly.
