Yes.. read the article and now trying to arouse people to complain through social networks, goverment offices or what ever means possible to draw attention to this matter. This 'mafia taxi group' should be stopped through protests or some legal avenue. To think that BLUE BIRD a proud INDONESIAN company that works with integrity, honesty and humilty is being punished and bullied because they promote such qualitys. How bad does this look for BALI whilst the police are doing nothing to stop it. BLUE BIRD have and will always prove to be honest with any customer whether it be a tourist or a local, this high school behaviour is only another nail in the coffin for BALI... people must stand up and an important part in saying NO.. we WON"T be part of this.....
HELP AND MAKE BLUE BIRL A SAFE option for all of us in BALI..here are some things you can do.
1) write comments in forums about this matter.
2) post a comment on jakarta globe and jakarta post in regards to the news article.
3) contact your local bali travel agent and lodge a complaint and ask them to forward it to the BAli TRavel Association or what every body will listen.
4) Take those extra minutes to wait or phone for ONLY a BLUE bird taxi.
If we all make a stance we can make a difference - this is just not fair, we've all experienced the taxi mafia in double 6 road or other nooks and crannys around Bali where we have fallen victims to 'bali taxi mafia' - I am not denying anyone from earning a living, but I will not tolerate the WAY in which they make it. AT the end of the day there is always a choice - be you poor or rich I just can't stand to see these un just things going on around me in my own back yard.
Thank you ... and may the force be with you all..
