Two years ago, on plane on way home, had excrutiating pain in my legs and back. By the time I got home I was shaking like I was having a fit and then it started. Campylobactor for ten days. Never had pain in my stomach like it. Incubation period I think is a day or two, so pretty sure I know what restaurant i ate at. But like others have said, can be either in the meat (red or white) or on the hands of the food handlers etc. And unfortunately all the raspberry juice, travellan and inner health tablets we consumed can't kill it! Fingers crossed I never get it again.
