They are well aware that there are different 'classes' of people in any nationality.
They are well aware there are rude and uncouth Australians, rude and uncouth Russians, rude Americans. rude Brazilians, rude Brits, rude Indonesians, rude Koreans etc, but they also know there are many who are decent.
We don't need to apologise for a stranger.
