Quarantine checked the wood we declared . They then xray the bags that do not contain wood . It was then that a woman in blue aproached us . Had we been through with everyone else we would have been fine , we were at the back of the queue and last through . They were just standing around and saw that we had 4 boxs and 4 bags . Looked a lot of luggage , but with 5 people it wsn't . I have no problem with them checking our bags , it was just that i can't see the differance between 20 sarongs , shirts , hats , pieces of jewelery etc and metal wall art . Then to be treated like a criminal when the form that i filled out never stated quantities or do they have paperwork that states this either . The other 3 customs officers standing around were great , offering my kids water and asked if we had anyone waiting . They also queried why we were being hassled .
