We just got back from the Aston yesterday and had a great stay there. We had a ocean view suite which was huge, clean and modern. On our last day we had a complimentary late checkout but had to move to a deluxe room. Again a very nice room.
The pool is huge and we loved sitting on the lounges overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was amazing(loved the homemade loaves of bread,croisants,danish pastry etc). The hotel food was of top quality too. Kids loved pizza,nacho's, burgers etc too at reasonable prices. Coco Bistro is across the road from hotel and make the best Gado Gado in Bali :0) Actually all we ate there was good. We tried a few others but Coco Bistro was the best in our opinion.
Not sure on Taxi prices but our usual driver charged us 50,000rp in a 8 seater so maybe taxi would be 30,000?
