each leg is totally independent from any other.
Their luggage will have to be collected, and then managed by them until the check in for the next flight comes around.
The town is to far out for a dash in, so probably the airport Tune (10 minutes walk) maybe a place to store luggage (at a price) and to chill out.
It's very cheap for a room on line for 24 hrs and that may be worth considering for shower, storage etc.
