My personal opinion is that the chippies are much tastier.... not so much the seasoning but the actual potato it self. Also.... beer nuts are to die for.
We did the Bike Baik bike tour and yes, they did supply helmets, a guide at the front and behind, a mini bus so that you can take a break and the ute to carry your bike and some spares. Also, iced water was provided. Would definately recommend this for kids....
