Recreational drugs in my time and lucky that they were not my thing!
I had a four year stint working the door at nightclubs and a lot of people have no idea what is really going on out there!
Some buyers have no idea of the dangers involved and others dont care,can you blame them when the authorities dont seem to care?
The fact that it is so prevalent (and by no means a new thing) leads some to think that it is entirely tolerated anywhere they travel like it is at home!
If one person thinks twice about buying drugs in Bali after reading this thread then it could just be one family saved the anguish.
I dont want to patronize people who choose to take recreational drugs,but the weekend club tripper to Bali from Jakarta live under a different set of rules to the average Australian tourist who "will" be fare game.
I do believe that people who take recreational drugs can have just as good a time without them, they just dont know it yet!
