Hi Jen we travel with Virgin Blue from Adelaide last year for the first time found them great. Much better than going via somewhere else. Also great time to leave in the morning. I would definitely rug up a bit I seem to get cold make sure you put on some socks if I get cold feet I am cold all over. Last year I bought a coffee I think it was $6 and I paid cash but I think it might be CC. now.Husband said coffee was very nice ! Plane was not completely full so was able to stretch out a bit. Did not buy any food as had breakfast before we left. I had a few lollies to stop ears from popping. Have a great trip.
