we stayed at Bali Garden Hotel last Xmas & New Year and enjoyed it that much we decided to go back for New Year. Head to the beach is all I can say. If you stay at a hotel that backs onto the beach you are laughing, grab a lounge chair nice and early and settle in for a long afternoon, night, early morning of good fun. Fireworks 24hrs non stop. One thing I noticed was even though there were thousands of people on the beach, there was no violence, not like back home in Oz,.
