not anticlockwise, otherwise you have a huge hill to ride up (even on a motorbike!) just out of the village of Jungutbatu, be careful riding down it too, and take it easy ..... watch for loose gravel, many a person has had to be transported back to the mainland from the island, after coming off bikes, friend works at the small hospital on the island and has to accompany the injured to Denpasar!
