we had planned to stay there when we go to Bali in July. The prices were very good for what appears to be a loveley hotel and the staff are very prompt and helpful with email replies. Before finalising our booking I sms'd our Balinese friend to ask him how far out of Sanur the hotel is and he immediately rang back to tell me that it's a long wy out of Sanur and there is very little close to it. He thought it was too isolated. If you know Sanur, it's at least 15 minutes drive from Jl Hang Tuah (where KFC is located in the North of Sanur). I managed to find it on Google Earth, and it's just past the big U turn on the Bypass Road that takes you to the north heading coast road. (If that helps). It's double the distance to Sanur on the Bypass Road. We have decided to book elsewhere for this holiday and go and have a look at the hotel and see how we feel about the location for our next holiday. The rooms look gorgeous and the grounds magnificent in Trip Advisor photos. There are also some good reviews on Trip Advisor. If you do decide to stay there you will find that the price that Bali Discovery Tours offers is less than direct with the hotel, but the hotel price is negotiable. They also ask for full payment to be direct debited to their account on booking, but on request were happy to wait until check in for payment. (With no deposit)
If you do decide to stay there I would love to hear what you think of this hotel.
It seems to be difficult to find out much about The Graha Cakra so I hope this is of some help to you.
