If I ring Oz and don't talk for long I use up about 10,000rp credit, you know a quick Hi, how are you, can't talk long, but with SKYPE you can call a mobile and talk for a lot longer.

I think you if you have the mobile with you at all times you can still do whatever you like, the reception is even 100% in the mountains (the phone towers are up at Kintamani). I sold shares from a canoe on Lake Batur once, my stockbroker was a little surprised to find out where I was when he called.
