flown by Garuda these days.

As you can appreciate, with all the efforts I personally put into getting Garuda into Adelaide all those years ago, I was just so sad to see them finally cease their South Australian services.

Even domestically, Garuda won't get into serious "price-wars" as they have made a policy of being acknowledged as a leading full-service carrier servicing the mid to upper market sectors - and leaving the "low cost carriers" to fill their specific market. I am sure that the last thing the current President/CEO Emirstyah Satar would contemplate would be to engage in a price war with Pacific Blue just to service the Adelaide market. This policy is working admirably for Garuda with new routes being introduced only if they are commercially sustainable.
