we pick up guests from all over Bali and there are some places full of Aussies and some with none, BGH even have an Indonesian woman at reception with an Australian accent, it threw me the other day, I spoke to her in Indonesian and she spoke back in "Australian". There are many places without Aussies in them, best not to get a referral from BTF, as on here it seems everyone goes to the same places.

KTH is built to last, that is the difference between the Bali built and the Western built, a hotel I stayed in 15 years ago that was 5 star is now an empty eyesore on the beach and has been empty for 5 years. I think you are correct Baldie in that it may be the future for some buildings as they are being built to last a bit longer.

Our house is 8 months young and already falling down (Bali built) but the Balinese are used to constantly renovating, keeps everyone in a job I guess.
