1. Do not use your Telstra USB with the Telstra Sim card in it to connect to the internet in Bali, that is the same as global roaming on your phone.

2. You may be able to get a Bali sim card to go in your Telstra thingy, but that USB thing might be locked to the Telstra network and it might not work (just a guess as companies tend to do such things)

3. Your laptop may have a built in wireless device in it; if it does, switch it on and test in Australia, that it works. Some libraries have free hot spots, and in Adelaide, the whole CBD is free for wireless.

4. If your laptop does not have a wireless built in, or if it does not work, or is verrrryyyy slow (like mine) you will need to buy a USB thinggy from say Officeworks for around $40. Again, test it out as per point 3 before you leave.
