My husband as a test used his & he said it was more of a rip off than the pokies are ! $120 was used up in about 10 minutes.
I can't remember the price or exact details but Haaris from Bali Cyber Cafe told us you can buy a local set up at what we thought was a reasonable price & it lasts for a month. The company that he mentioned office is somewhere in Tuban near the airport.
Alternatively you can go to a decent Internet Cafe such as Bali Cyber Cafe or you could occassionally go to restaurants & cafes with free Wifi anytime you wanted to check your email or go online. Many hotels these days also have free WiFi & if it's not available in your room it can be accessed in public areas of the hotel.
