Lucky me Ah? Go to Bali a lot because with fly in fly out I get long breaks again, lucky me. Haven't stayed in Sanur for a couple of years, usually hire a bike and move around. This time was a little different because my Big Sis and her husband were staying at Gazebo. They live over East and I'm in WA so don't get to see them much. She just about brought me up and put me through school and uni.It was just the best to spend time with them. Mind you I usually go with mates and that is always good too. I had 2 days booked at Ari Putri have stayed there once before and it is a really good value little place in a good spot.I would've stayed on but wanted to be nearer to them and I've stayed a few times at Puri Made in the past so I went back there. Right opposite Gazebo. I always liked it before but I like it even more now. It's actually at the back of the new Ducks Nuts restaurant.A really good value little hotel and the new owners were great.Nothing too much trouble Even my sister noticed how clean the rooms were and the toilets in the restaurant. Not something I usually bother much about but she is a bit compulsive over cleaning. Anyway had a few snacks in the restaurant which were good and always found good company in there.Oh, the breakfasts were really good.
We didn't do much in the way of trips because they have a little toddler who tends to be car sick usually on me as it goes. We were careful where we ate because of the nipper and had no probems at all. We all liked Jepun the best for night time meals although the one next door was nearly as good. Can't remember the name but it's well known. Also like Bonsai, The Beach, Mangos and Bennys or maybe that was Bennos anyway in that group between Bonsai and the corner of Sindhu Beach Street.Enjoyed the music and the food at an Irish pub down near Ari Putri, forgot the name and I don't remember it been there when I stayed a few years ago.Could have forgotten it though. Also enjoyed the music on Sunday Afternoon at the Ducks Nuts.
Thats about it really.Bit boring really as reads go but maybe when I go with my mates next time I'll have more to talk about. These cheap fares are the best thing since sliced bread for me being fly in fly out.
Also thanks to Big Sis for putting me on to this site.It looks helpful and fun and maybe a little weird but perhaps I just don't get all that is going on yet.
