When booking in before you go to Bali the Airline would refuse to book your luggage if it was over 32Kg. They would ask you to unpack and put into another bag or give you a plastic bag. Handlers in Australia refuse to lift anything over 32kg. I have been 33k coming back from Bali once and they made me unpack and put the 1k into the other bag.
